AEW star Abadon suffered an injury while performing on an independent show over the weekend.
PWInsider reported that they were hurt while wrestling wrestling Joey Ace at a Warriors of Wrestling show in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday. According to the report, the injury occurred while Abadon was attempting a hurricanrana and landed badly.
The match was stopped and Abadon was then taken to the hospital.
The report noted that the word making the rounds was that Abadon likely suffered a broken collarbone. There is no word on how long they may be out of action.
Abadon most recently competed for AEW on last week's episode of Dark: Elevation, where they defeated Amy Rose.
A match featuring Abadon was also recorded at AEW's Dark tapings (prior to Rampage) on November 4. Abadon beat Leva Bates in a match that has yet to air.
The 30-year-old signed a full-time AEW contract in June 2020. Abadon has primarily been used on Dark and Dark: Elevation in recent times, with their most recent Dynamite outing taking place in January 2021 (a loss to then-AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida).
