Since he lost the NXT Championship to Keith Lee at The Great American Bash, Adam Cole has displayed more babyface tendencies on the black and gold brand.
The Leader of The Undisputed ERA was presented as the babyface during his match with Pat McAfee at NXT TakeOver: 30 and he admitted Finn Balor was the better man following his loss to The Prince on September 8. On last night's NXT, Cole was once again the babyface when he faced off against Austin Theory.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported this is indeed the beginning of a babyface turn for the former NXT Champion. He won't be the only member of The Undisputed ERA turning, though, as WWE is planning to book Kyle O'Reilly as a fully-fledged babyface going forward.
Fans shouldn't expect Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish to turn with their stablemates, however. Johnson noted the former NXT Tag Team Champions will remain heels. What this means for the future of the dominant faction remains to be seen.
