Report: Adam Cole Injury Update

Adam Cole has been out of action since Forbidden Door

Adam Cole has been out of action since suffering a concussion in the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship four-way at Forbidden Door in June.

After it was revealed that Cole was concussed, it was also reported that the former ROH World Champion was also dealing with a torn labrum, and a follow-up report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer may have shed some light on Cole’s condition:

“Adam Cole is opting to not have surgery on his torn labrum. He’s doing therapy for it. The time frame for his return is based more on the recovery from the concussion. We are told he is faring better in that regard.”

Since joining AEW at All Out 2021, Cole has wrestled over 30 televised matches for the company, included many hard hitting bouts against the likes of Adam Page, Orange Cassidy, and the aforementioned Forbidden Door bout, amongst others.

A former NXT Triple Crown winner, Cole has also held gold in the likes of ROH, PWG, and CZW, amongst others.
