Report: AEW Discouraging Talent From Flipping Off & Body-Shaming The Crowd

Saraya was fined following AEW Dynamite after flipping off and insulting the crowd

Saraya found herself in hot water during the Wednesday, March 15 edition of AEW Dynamite after The Outcasts member used a common British slur and called the fans in attendance in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada "tw*ts."

Saraya noted following the event that she had been fined and Fightful Select have confirmed the former Anti-Diva was indeed fined by All Elite Wrestling.

The proceeds from Saraya's reprimand were put towards AEW Together projects and the former WWE Divas Champion has apologised privately. Saraya received the fine for using profanity on TV and for using the middle finger without informing the producer of the segment, it was revealed in a mass email sent to AEW talent.

It was further noted that AEW talent have been discouraged from flipping off audience members and from body shaming the crowd. Both are common occurrences on AEW TV, particularly during promos from AEW World Champion MJF.

AEW previously asked talent in the summer of 2022 to not fly too close to the sun in using expletives on TV. Then-AEW producer Ace Steel was fined in August of last year for swearing on TV, with the money being donated to charity.
