Report: AEW Planning To Push QT Marshall

AEW have big plans for QT Marshall, it seems

A push is on the way for QT Marshall.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, fans should "expect to see more of a push for QT Marshall now that he's the AAA Latin American Champion" on All Elite Wrestling programming. Marshall won the AAA Latin American Championship at AAA TripleMania XXXI: Mexico City on August 12, defeating Pentagon Jr, El Texano Jr, and Dralistico to win the vacant title. Marshall is set to defend the belt on Friday's episode of AEW Rampage against Gravity.

AEW are also currently working on signing Marshall to a new deal, Fightful Select has reported. Both sides have been locked in negotiations over a new deal and a short-term extension has been discussed. Marshall is likely to sign but he hasn't put pen to paper on the new contract as of yet.

Outside of his on-screen role as the leader of QTV, Marshall is a key figure backstage as the Vice President of Show and Creative Coordination. He has been with the promotion since 2019. Marshall also runs the Nightmare Factory with Cody Rhodes.
