Report: AEW's Brand Split Plans Change 'Every Day'

AEW's brand split plans are still up in the air

The plans for the upcoming AEW Collision show on June 17 have been a talking point over the last few weeks, with things seemingly changing by the day in terms of CM Punk’s potential comeback to AEW television. That isn’t the only thing which is an uncertainty though, as the plans regarding a potential AEW brand split are up in the air too per a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

“Regarding the brand split idea, we’ve been told that it changes every day and will continue to change until the show is on the air, and probably continue to change after that based on how successful the show is. He was asked about it and gave no answer saying he wanted to build curiosity.”

Reports have been back and forth for months when it comes to whether AEW’s roster will experience a hard or soft brand split over the Dynamite and Collision shows, with it still seeming as though Tony Khan and AEW don’t know what they want to do.
