Report: AEW's Komander Suffers An Injury?

Komander seems to have picked up an injury at a Demand Lucha event

Komander is one of AEW’s newest signings, with Tony Khan announcing his arrival on April 19. Over the last couple of months, Komander has competed a few times on AEW programming, with him standing out as an exciting young performer. He made his debut in the Face Of The Revolution ladder match, before having matches against Sammy Guevara and Jay White on Dynamite. He has also competed on Ring of Honor programming too.

However, his current momentum may have been halted, as he looks to reportedly have some sort of injury. Per John Pollock of Post Wrestling, Komander could well be hurt. After previously being cancelled for a Demand Lucha show due to visa issues, he made a surprise appearance and was inserted into the match between Arez and Gringo Loco. However, according to Pollock;

“During the match, Komander executed a moonsault and was favoring his knee. He was taken to the back and did not return to the match.”

It is currently unclear about the extent of Komander’s injury, and when fans can expect him to return to the ring.
