Report: AEW's Rey Fenix Out With An Injury

Death Triangle will be Death Digon for the time being

All Elite Wrestling's Rey Fenix is out of action with an injury, according to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer.

There is no word on what type of injury Fenix is dealing with or how long he will be on the sidelines beyond that he is not advertised for Double Or Nothing.

Many were surprised the former AAA Mega Champion was not scheduled for the Casino Battle Royale on May 30. His brother Penta El Zero Miedo and the likes of QT Marshall, Dustin Rhodes, Matt Hardy and Christian Cage will be in the match, though.

Fenix has been in the wars over the last year and this is his fourth injury since May 2020. He injured his back and hip ahead of last year's Casino Ladder match and was subsequently pulled from the pay-per-view. He then injured his neck in October 2020 during a match with Penta and he "got rocked" during a six-man tag team match in December.

He last wrestled in AEW on the April 26 episode of Dark: Elevation when he defeated Chuck Taylor.
