Report: AEW Scraps Current Plans To Hold ROH Supercard Of Honor In Las Vegas Over WWE WrestleMania 41 Weekend
No ROH Supercard of Honor over WWE WrestleMania 41 weekend as of now
Jan 21, 2025
One of the top shows could be missing from WWE WrestleMania 41 weekend.
According to WrestleZone, a source in Las Vegas has claimed that ROH Supercard of Honor was originally planned to take place in 'Sin City' over WrestleMania 41 weekend. AEW were even working with a venue near Fremont Street to hold the show there but those plans have since been scrapped. There is no word on why AEW decided to nix those plans.
It was noted that ROH Supercard of Honor may still happen in 2025 at a different location and on a different date but as of this moment the show will not be happening in April in downtown Las Vegas.
ROH Supercard of Honor, with a few exceptions, has been held over WWE WrestleMania weekend since 2006. The tradition continued after Tony Khan bought Ring of Honor in 2022, with the 2024 edition of Supercard of Honor ending with Mark Briscoe defeating Eddie Kingston to become ROH World Champion.
Past main events of ROH Supercard of Honor include Nigel McGuinness vs. Jerry Lynn, Kevin Steen vs. Jay Briscoe, Bryan Danielson vs. Roderick Strong, and Jay Briscoe vs. Samoa Joe.
