Report: AEW Still Has Big Things Planned For Jungle Boy
A future star in the company...

2020 has been somewhat of a mixed bag for Jungle Boy so far. He has amassed a 13-9 record in singles and tag team action, but beyond defeating MJF and Wardlow at Fyter Fest, Jurassic Express have often come up short in their big matches against the likes of The Inner Circle, The Elite and "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega.
Despite the losses, AEW reportedly still has big plans for Jungle Jack as Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the young star is in line for a "real big win" once fans can attend shows again. The young promotion has delayed booking a number of big moments because they want them to get a big pop, which isn't possible in a closed-circuit setting.
Meltzer said: "I think Jungle Boy's lost too many matches and, I mean, he needs a big win. I know that they want to hold it off until there's fans for the real big win."
AEW earmarked Jungle Boy for a "no rush" push soon after the promotion's first show Double Or Nothing 2019 as he impressed many in the Casino Battle Royale.
