Report: AEW Talents Pushed To Bring In Former WWE Duo

A WWE duo could have ended up appearing for All Elite Wrestling if some of the promotion's talents had their way.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that a number of AEW wrestlers were pushing for Mark Coffey and Joe Coffey to appear in the company in 2025. It was not mentioned if AEW talents were also pushing for the promotion to use Wolfgang, who was also a part of Gallus with the Coffey brothers.

All three members of Gallus were backstage at AEW Dynamite in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday night, although they were believed to just be visiting.

Wolfgang, Mark Coffey, and Joe Coffey had been a part of WWE for several years, performing across NXT UK and then NXT, until their releases in May 2025. The faction have primarily wrestled for ICW in Scotland since exiting WWE, but they will make their Major League Wrestling debuts on January 29 at MLW Battle Riot VIII in Kissimmee, Florida. All three talents will be featured in the Battle Riot match for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

It has not been confirmed if Gallus have signed contracts with MLW, so Wolfgang, Mark Coffey, and Joe Coffey could still be free agents.
