Report: AJ Styles' Opponent At WWE SummerSlam 2020 Possibly Revealed

A previous rival...

SummerSlam 2020 is fast approaching and The Biggest Party Of The Summer will be broadcast on the WWE Network on August 23. The wrestling behemoth finally found a location for the pay-per-view yesterday as reports noted the show will take place at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. WWE had previously considered holding the event in Atlantic City, New Jersey but those plans fell through.

Another match has also possibly been revealed for the pay-per-view as Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported WWE planned to start a feud between AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy over the Intercontinental Championship on tonight's episode of SmackDown. The latest edition of the blue brand was taped yesterday along with next week's episode of Monday Night Raw. There is a chance Styles won't face The Charismatic Enigma at SummerSlam, but Johnson noted the match was "expected" to be added to the card.

The Phenomenal One and Jeff Hardy have yet to go one on one in WWE but the two stars have faced off previously when they were both in TNA. Hardy even made his TNA debut against The Phenomenal One at the promotion's Second Anniversary Show in June 2004.
