Report: Backstage News On Dennis Rodman Appearing At AEW All Out

Who pitched for Rodman's All Out involvement?

A new report has shed some light on Dennis Rodman's recent AEW appearances.

According to Fightful Select, the decision to book Rodman for the September 2 edition of AEW Collision was made in the last couple of weeks leading up to the show.

Rodzilla was interrupted by Jeff Jarrett and his crew on the show, with Double J offering him a spot in his group. The former Chicago Bulls player responded by slamming Sonjay Dutt down, before The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn came out to set up an AEW Trios Title match at All Out.

At All Out, Rodman accompanied Gunn and The Acclaimed as they successfully defended their titles against Jarrett, Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh on the pay-per-view pre-show.

Per Fightful Select, it was Jarrett who had pitched for Rodman to be integrated into the All Out match.

The controversial 62-year-old is no stranger to the wrestling business, having wrestled several matches for WCW (while still competing as an active NBA player) during the late nineties. He made a single on-camera appearance for TNA, walking to the ring during the July 2, 2004 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

Rodman was also the winner of Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling reality television show in 2008.
