Report: Backstage News On Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks' AEW Returns
Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are set to return at AEW Full Gear
We haven’t seen The Elite since All Out, when the team of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks became the inaugural AEW World Trios Champions, before being suspended by the company for their part in a post-PPV backstage fight with CM Punk.
In recent weeks, AEW have aired vignettes hinting at The Elite’s return, before officially announcing the team will take on AEW World Trios Champions Death Triangle at Full Gear on November 19. Now, a report from Fightful Select has shed some more light on The Elite’s return noting that the plan has always been for the three to return officially at Full Gear since the debut of the vignettes.
The report also notes that The Young Bucks were backstage at the November 16 edition of AEW Dynamite, whilst The Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Don Callis have all been backstage at recent AEW tapings ahead of their return.
Death Triangle became the second-ever Trios Champions after The Elite were stripped of the belts, defeating Best Friends for the gold on the September 7 edition of Dynamite.
