Report: Backstage News On Surprises Planned For WWE Raw After WrestleMania 39

What could happen on the Raw after WrestleMania 39?

The Raw after WrestleMania often features major surprises, with the return of Brock Lesnar in 2012 and the debut of Goldberg in 2003 being just two major moments that took place on the Monday after the Showcase of the Immortals.

Fans may need to temper their expectations in 2023, though, as WrestleVotes have told GiveMeSport that too many major surprises shouldn't be expected on the show. It was speculated that one surprise could be the return of Zack Ryder/Matt Cardona, who has been rumoured for a WWE return throughout 2023.

"I would bet money that the majority of 'surprises' are going to be within the storylines on the show, as opposed to debuts. They don't want to go down that road. I don't think that will happen. I think you might get one debut. I think you might get Zack Ryder. I think you may get an NXT call-up, but I don't think five, six or seven people are showing up because that's just not reality. If you bring in 10 people to a roster that can't even use everybody already, you have to look at what you are doing?" WrestleVotes said.

NXT names speculated for main roster call-ups in recent months include Grayson Waller and Carmelo Hayes. Both talents will be in action at Stand & Deliver on April 1 ahead of night one of WrestleMania 39.
