Report: Bayley Eliminated Too Early At WWE Royal Rumble 2021

The Role Model's elimination may have come a bit too soon...

Bayley's elimination from the Women's match at the 2021 Royal Rumble can earlier than had been planned, it has been reported.

The former SmackDown Women's champion was the first entrant into this year's Women's Royal Rumble Match, last just over 29 minutes and making one elimination, before being thrown out by eventual winner Bianca Belair.

WWE production appeared to initially miss Bayley's dismissal from the event, as returning legend Torrie Wilson was eliminated mere seconds beforehand on the other side of the ring, before cutting to The Role Model outside the Squared Circle. Replays would then show that Bayley had indeed gone over the top rope.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Bayley's elimination from the match came slightly earlier than had been planned during rehearsals, and had been meant to remain in the contest a little longer.

Bayley was the twelfth elimination from this year's Women's Royal Rumble and registered the sixth longest time in the event. Winner Belair lasted the longest, with Naomi, Shayna Baszler, Rhea Ripley and Charlotte flair all also registering more time in the Rumble than Bayley.
