Report: Becky Lynch Expected To Return To WWE Imminently

Becky Lynch is expected to make her return to WWE in the very near future.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that sources within WWE and Netflix expect Lynch to be back in the mix with WWE by the time Monday Night Raw premieres on Netflix in the new year. The first episode of Raw on the streaming service will be Monday, January 6.

This would suggest that WWE and Becky Lynch have already agreed or are close to terms on a new deal.

An announcement could be made as soon as this weekend, with Lynch scheduled to appear at Vulture Festival. Promotional materials for her appearance suggest the former Women's World Champion may reveal her future plans there.

"WWE Superstar, trailblazer, and New York Times best-selling author Rebecca Quin will join us for a conversation about her recent memoir Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl. We’ll look back on her legendary career - from her early days grinding on the road to being in the first ever women’s match to main event WrestleMania - and just maybe get a glimpse at what The Man has in store for us next," promotional materials read.

Becky Lynch has been away from WWE since her contract expired in June. Recent signs suggested she was close to a return, though, as WWE recently agreed for athletic apparel companies to produce merchandise for Lynch.
