Report: Becky Lynch May Not Return As A WWE Raw Superstar

Becky Lynch may not challenge for the championship she never lost when she returns to WWE TV. 

Lynch has been on hiatus from WWE since she announced she was pregnant in May 2020 and The Man and Seth Rollins welcomed their daughter, Roux, into the world in December. 

Since then, Lynch has been training ahead of her WWE return and she put pen to paper on a new contract following WrestleMania 37. When exactly the former Becky Two Belts will return remains unknown beyond that it will be "relatively soon."

While many expected Lynch to return as a Raw Superstar to pursue the Raw Women's Title she was never pinned or submitted for, this may not be the case. 

According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Lynch may return on a different brand. Sapp didn't note which brand that would be, though, leaving SmackDown, NXT and NXT UK as the other three options for Lynch outside of Raw.

"That match being made for SummerSlam (Triple Threat Raw Women's Title match) was a bit of a surprise. A lot of people were expecting Becky to be back, but word is she might be heading to a different brand. So, who knows but they need her back, bad," Sapp said on Fightful's Raw Review.
