Report: Bobby Fish Expected To Leave AEW When Deal Expires

ReDRagon’s Bobby Fish expected to leave AEW at end of contract

Another name is expected to depart AEW  the coming months, with reports stating that bobby Fish could be on his way out of the promotion.

Per a report from Fightful Select, Fish’s AEW contract will soon be expiring, and it is expected that the former ROH World TV Champion will be leaving AEW, with a contract renewal not expected from the company.

Fish has been used sparingly by AEW in recent months, with injuries to Undisputed Elite team mates Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly harming the team’s momentum. The trio were last seen on Dynamite in early August turning on The Young Bucks, but with Cole and O’Reilly still not cleared for in-ring action there was no follow up.

A former NXT and ROH Tag Title holder, Fish debuted for AEW in October 2021, and last wrestled for the company at a Dark: Elevation taping in July 2022.

Since then, Fish has been wrestling on the independent scene, with 45 year-old Fish defeating Yuya Uemura at DEFY Doomsayers on August 20.
