Report: Bray Wyatt Held Talks With WWE About Return

Bray Wyatt has reportedly held talks with WWE about a potential return

Former WWE star Bray Wyatt has held talks with the company about a potential return, according to a recent report.

Writing in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer claimed that there were 'definitely' talks in that direction. He added that, at one point, talks had stalled but it was said not to be a 'dead issue'.

It was also noted that talks between Wyatt and other companies outside of WWE have similarly stalled in the past, due to his asking price being well above what anyone was willing to pay. The general belief is that towards the end of Bray's WWE run, behind the likes of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, he was one of the highest-paid performers in the world.

Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31, 2021, and hasn't wrestled since.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque recently commented on a potential Bray Wyatt return, praising his creativity while saying he loved working with him in the past.

A report from last month suggested that The Eater of Worlds would be back in WWE 'soon'.
