Report: Bray Wyatt Teases Drives WWE Hell In A Cell Ticket Sales

Rumours that Bray Wyatt was to appear at Hell in a Cell allegedly boosted ticket sales

After posting some cryptic social media posts alluding to an imminent return to wrestling, many fans believed that Bray Wyatt was to make his long awaited return at WWE Hell in a Cell 2022.

Alas, Wyatt did not materialise, but a report from F4WOnline suggests that the Wyatt to WWE rumours helped drive ticket sales for Hell in a Cell, especially on the secondary market. Furthermore, Hell in a Cell itself is reported to have been a legitimate sell-out, with resale ticket demand believed to be greater than any other WWE event in 2022.

Whilst the rumours of Wyatt/The Fiend appearing at Hell in a Cell seemingly materialised out of thin air, there is logic to the rumour mill, seeing as Wyatt had several prominent spots in the cell over the years. From his ‘hologram’ attack on Dean Ambrose, to his derided match against Seth Rollins, for better or worse there is some degree of association between Wyatt and the Cell.

Wyatt has not wrestled since his shock WWE release in July 2021, with the former WWE Champion believed to have been working on several projects outside of wrestling, as well as spending time with his family.
