Report: Damian Priest Considered A 'Top Level Player' Within WWE

The Judgement Day member is said to have received "a ton" of internal praise from WWE.

Damian Priest has been the subject of a lot of praise backstage in WWE recently, according to a report by Mike Johnson for PWInsider Elite

"There was a ton of praise internally for all the work Damian Priest has done in recent months to level himself up, culminating with the San Juan Street Fight this past weekend. One source noted to PWInsider.com that he has to be seen as one of the top level players in the company going forward. Priest is in the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament that kicks off tonight," Johnson wrote.

The mentioned Street Fight saw Priest lose to Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny in the celebrity's third-ever match. His first came as Priest's tag partner at WrestleMania 37, where the pair defeated The Miz and John Morrison. His second was a surprise appearance in the 2022 men's Royal Rumble match.

Unfortunately for Priest, his run in the mentioned WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament has seemingly ended in the first round. He and Shinsuke Nakamura were defeated by Seth Rollins.
