Report: Dates Of Upcoming WWE Draft Revealed

All change on Raw and the new Friday Night SmackDown...

With WWE SmackDown Live becoming WWE Friday Night SmackDown on October 4, the WWE Wildcard rule is reportedly going to become a thing of the past.

As part of the process to give Raw and the new Friday Night SmackDown on Fox their own exclusive rosters, it has been reported by a few sources now that the company will be holding a draft.

Per a report from John Pollock of POST Wrestling, the next WWE draft is set to kick off on the second episode of Friday Night SmackDown on October 11.

That show takes place in Las Vegas, with Pollock's report claiming the draft will last until the subsequent episode of Raw on October 14 from Denver.

Reports of a fresh WWE draft taking place kicked off in last week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter: “Right now there is a concept of another draft type of thing to build permanent Raw and Smackdown rosters. What we were originally told is that they wouldn’t be making major changes, but some changes, but this is Vince. Everything is being kept quiet and USA and FOX will be the first to know when the concept is decided.”
