Report: Dominik Mysterio "Frustrated" With WWE Booking

Dominik Mysterio is the reigning AAA Mega Champion in WWE’s Mexican promotion, being presented as the number heel on the brand. Contrary to this booking in AAA, Mysterio’s 2026 has seen him lose the Intercontinental Championship and enter a feud with Danhausen which has stretched across many months on WWE programming, leading to his loss in a “Human Monies On A Pole” match at SummerSlam 2026. There is reportedly some frustration on the back of this. 

According to a report from False Finish HQ, Dominik Mysterio is said to be frustrated with the difference between his booking in AAA and WWE. A source expanded by stating that Mysterio is under the belief that he should be booked more seriously on WWE programming due to his position holding the most important championship in AAA, and would like to see his character portrayed the same in both promotions rather than it “seeming like he’s two separate people on two different shows”. 

This comes on the back of there being internal frustration a couple of months back regarding the booking of both he and Liv Morgan in WWE.
