Report: Edge's Travel Changed Ahead Of WWE Raw

No Edge on Monday's Raw

A WWE Hall of Famer's return was seemingly scrapped ahead of Monday's episode of Raw from Madison Square Garden.

It emerged last week that WWE were internally planning to bring Edge in for the July 25 edition of Raw and while it wasn't confirmed if the 11-time world champion would actually be on the show, he was planned to be in New York City on Monday.

However, Fightful Select reported ahead of Raw that at least one part of Edge's travel had been cancelled or changed. The 48-year-old then failed to appear on last night's show and WWE will seemingly look to bring him back to TV at a later date.

Edge has been away from WWE TV since he was kicked out of Judgment Day in early June, with his faction now being composed of Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley. Edge was reportedly removed from the group because he was opposed to WWE's plans to take Judgment Day in a supernatural direction, although the faction has yet to display supernatural tendencies.

During his time away from TV, mysterious vignettes for Edge have aired on WWE TV and recent reports have noted new Rated-R Superstar merchandise has been created, suggesting the WWE Hall of Famer will be returning with his old gimmick.
