One of WWE's top luchadores could be set to make their debut in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide later this year.

AAA are set to present Triplemania Regia on June 15 and WWE's Angel and Humberto have already been announced for the show in Monterrey, Mexico, while TNA's Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, and Joe Hendry are expected to work the event.

According to WrestleVotes on WrestleVotes Radio, El Grande Americano - AKA Chad Gable in a mask - is being considered for Triplemania Regia by WWE and AAA. Americano has been in a feud with WWE's other luchadores in recent months and captured his first singles title this week, defeating Dragon Lee for the WWE Speed Championship.

JBL is also planned for the show, although he has been regularly featured on AAA as part of a storyline ownership group looking to buy the promotion. Rey Mysterio was originally planned for the show but he is out of action since tearing his groin on the SmackDown before WrestleMania 41.

WWE announced the acquisition of AAA over WrestleMania 41 weekend and the deal is set to be completed later this year.
