Report: El Hijo Del Vikingo Not Expected To Miss Any Dates Despite Passing Out At AAA TripleMania

A scary moment occurred at AAA TripleMania XXXI: Mexico City on August 12 as El Hijo Del Vikingo passed out following his AAA Mega Title match and was stretchered out of the arena. 

Some questioned if the stretcher job was a work but PWInsider reported that no one they have spoken to has said it was planned. Instead, Vikingo wasn't feeling very well heading into the match and the semi-main event simply appears to have taken a toll on the AAA Mega Champion. VIkingo ended up dehydrated and he didn't eat enough food during the day of the show. 

PWInsider noted that Vikingo was fine the next day after the incident and he won't be missing any upcoming bookings. 

Vikingo defeated "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Jack Cartwheel, and Daga in a Four-Way to retain the AAA Mega Championship. He has been champion since December 2021 and Vikingo recently defeated Kenny Omega to retain the gold. Omega and Vikingo now hold one win apiece against each other.
