Report: Estimated AEW Double Or Nothing 2023 PPV Buys Revealed

AEW Double or Nothing took place on Sunday, May 28

All Elite Wrestling held their latest pay-per-view in Double or Nothing on Sunday, May 28, with the show once again emanating from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Headline matches included a Four Pillars Four Way for the AEW World Title, Anarchy in the Arena of Blackpool Combat Club vs. The Elite, and Adam Cole vs. Chris Jericho in an Unsanctioned Match.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the latest edition of Double or Nothing is estimated to finish between 130,000 and 135,000 pay-per-view buys. The number could increase depending on the extent of late buys but the show is not expected to have late buys on the level of Revolution earlier this year.

The latest edition of Double or Nothing is ultimately down from the 165,000 buys that Double or Nothing 2022 did with CM Punk vs. Hangman Page, MJF vs. Wardlow, and the first Anarchy in the Arena as headline matches.

AEW's pay-per-view buys have settled since then, with Forbidden Door, All Out, Full Gear, and the aforementioned Revolution all generating around 140,000 buys.

Beyond pay-per-view buys, Double or Nothing 2023 drew a gate of $900,000 with 9000 paid fans in attendance and 1550 comps. This was under last year's Las Vegas pay-per-view which earned over $1,000,000 from 14,459 total fans in attendance.
