WWE reportedly has some fun stuff in the works

WWE reportedly has a number of exciting things and 'a surprise or two' lined up for fans this weekend as the company returns to live shows and touring.

After almost 18 months without having fans in attendance, with the exception of WrestleMania 37 in April, WWE will finally return to a touring schedule and putting on events in front of the WWE Universe from Friday.

This week's SmackDown will mark the return of the WWE Universe with a host of big matches, including a SmackDown Women's Championship bout between Bianca Belair and Carmella, and a six-man tag-team match putting Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Usos against Edge and SmackDown Tag Team Champions Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

Following SmackDown, WWE will present Money In The Bank on Sunday before Raw on Monday evening, and according to WrestleVotes, fans can expect some exciting developments at the coming shows this weekend.

The reliable account wrote: "With the ThunderDome officially behind them, source states that WWE has some cool & exciting things planned for this weekend….. Expect a surprise or two. Truly a pivotal time in recent WWE history."

In terms of surprises, John Cena has been tipped for an imminent return to the WWE ring, while rumours around the likes of Brock Lesnar and Becky Lynch also persist.
