Report: Former WWE Talent Helping To Produce AEW Matches

A former WWE wrestler is helping behind the scenes in AEW

A former WWE talent is helping to produce matches in All Elite Wrestling, Fightful Select have reported.

Alongside his role as an AEW in-ring talent, Ari Daivari has been working behind the scenes as a producer and he helped produce the tag team match from the August 3 episode of Dynamite that saw Thunderstorm take on Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter. Daivari was said to have put the foundations of the match in place and the talents themselves mostly put the bout together.

Daivari had worked in WWE as a producer on a trial basis earlier this year along with Joe Hennig (FKA Curtis Axel) but they were ultimately not signed. Ari continued to perform at AEW Dark tapings while working in WWE but he has since become full-time in AEW and Ring Of Honor, forming The Trustbusters with Parker Boudreaux and Slim J. Daivari and Slim J recently picked up a win over The Shinobi Shadow Squad on the Death Before Dishonor pre-show.

Prior to his brief spell as a WWE producer, Daivari performed in the company's cruiserweight division from 2016 until his release in June 2021. He competed for the NWA and New Japan Pro-Wrestling before he became more involved in AEW.
