Report: Gigi Dolin Out Of Action With Concussion

Gigi Dolin on the shelf

Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne looked to be on the receiving end of a push in WWE, having advanced to the second round of the Women's Tag Team Title Tournament, but the Toxic Attraction team were pulled from the tournament on Monday, with WWE announcing that Dolin had sustained an injury.

In an update, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Dolin suffered a concussion during Toxic Attraction's first-round match against Natalya and Sonya Deville. This also leaves Toxic Attraction's main roster future uncertain for the time being.

To replace Toxic Attraction, WWE will hold a Second Chance Fatal 4-Way on Friday's episode of SmackDown. The winners of that match will face Raquel Gonzalez and Aliyah. Dakota Kai and IYO SKY have already advanced to the Women's Tag Team Title Tournament final, having defeated Asuka and Alexa Bliss on Monday's episode of Raw.

Toxic Attraction themselves were a late addition to the tournament. Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons were originally scheduled to compete but Stark suffered a concussion on Tuesday's episode of SmackDown and was unable to perform.
