Report: Health Update On Jerry "The King" Lawler

Jerry Lawler is making positive progress after suffering stroke

Back in February, WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler was hospitalised following a stroke, and despite it taking quite a toll on Lawler initially, reports indicate that he is making very strong progress in his recovery.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider reported that Lawler continues to make very positive strides despite it being just two months since the incident. It seems as though Lawler is also set for his first public appearance since his stroke, with him announced to be appearing at the Gathering IV convention in Charlotte, North Carolina in August in which Lawler will reunite with old AWA rivals such as Tommy Rich and Austin Idol in a big 1980s throwback. Lawler has had to previously cancel other appearances, so the fact that he is still scheduled for this event looks to be a sign that he will in fact be there.

Lawler recently appeared via video at the 2023 Hall of Fame event to commemorate the induction of his late friend Andy Kaufman.
