Report: Jack Evans Had Heat With AEW Following Botched Phoenix Splash

Evans found himself in hot water

Jack Evans and Dark Order's 10 went one on one in the main event of AEW Dark this week. 10 ultimately picked up the win, but he ended the match bleeding profusely from his mouth after Evans caught him with an elbow during a Phoenix Splash. A bloody 10 then ended up fist-bumping -1 following the match and Amanda Huber made a post on Instagram defending AEW after criticism was levelled at the company.

According to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, Jack Evans had heat in AEW with "the people you don't want heat with" following the botched Phoenix Splash. The TH2 man then didn't accompany his tag team partner Angelico to the ring for the South African's match against Rey Fenix on AEW: Dynamite.

Evans has been a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster since 2019. He has often teamed with Angelico as The Hybrid2, but he has also competed in singles matches on Dark and Dynamite.

In regards to 10, Meltzer noted he needed "work done" after the match. If he will miss any time is currently unknown.
