Report: Jade Cargill Backstage At Recent AEW Dynamite

While there were several interesting names backstage at the August 16 edition of Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling had another noteworthy visitor at the August 9 Dynamite in Columbus, Ohio. 

According to Fightful Select, Jade Cargill was backstage at the event on August 9. It is unknown why she was backstage at the show and it is possible she may have just been visiting Tony Khan and her fellow AEW wrestlers. 

Fightful also noted that Cargill remains under contract with All Elite Wrestling and she is currently taking some planned time off from the company. There has been uncertainty over Cargill's future with the promotion in recent months, and Tony Khan recently noted the former TBS Champion remains under contract but he couldn't say for certain what Cargill was going to do in the future. 

Cargill has been off AEW programming since she dropped the TBS Championship to Kris Statlander at May's Double or Nothing pay-per-view. She made her AEW debut back in 2020 and went 60-0 before being defeated by Statlander.
