Report: Kenny Omega Will "Never Be 100%" Again

Latest on Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega continues to be absent from All Elite Wrestling and The Best Bout Machine has been out of action since he dropped the AEW World Title to Hangman Page at Full Gear in November of 2021, with Omega taking time off to heal from several injuries.

Omega has since had hernia and arthroscopic knee surgery and he is continuing to rehab his other ailments, although it was noted the former AEW World Champion is not close to an in-ring return.

The Cleaner has been backstage at recent AEW tapings, but Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Omega isn't in Las Vegas for any of the promotion's shows this week as it was too early for him to travel while he continues to heal from his injuries.

Omega also told Meltzer he is able to train well with the healthy parts of his body and he is pushing himself more and more every week. Other aspects of healing are slow, though, and Omega is 'resigned to the fact that physically he will never be 100 percent.' He will look to reverse some physical damage, however, and The Cleaner believes his time off will allow him to extend his time as an effective wrestler inside the squared circle.
