Report: Late Changes Made To WWE Raw

More changes to WWE Raw, continuing the trend since Vince McMahon's return

May 8 was another day of last-minute changes for Monday Night Raw, with the show emanating from Jacksonville, Florida.

While Raw did not undergo major last-minute rewrites, Fightful Select reported that a production assistant handed out a new format sheet for the show only a couple of hours before Raw went on the air. The full extent of the changes is not known but there was at least one order change to the May 8 episode.

Last-minute changes to Raw have become more of a common occurrence since Vince McMahon re-established himself as the head of WWE creative on Monday, April 3 after WWE agreed a sale with Endeavor. McMahon proceeded to make extensive changes to the Raw after WrestleMania 39 later that day, only hours after he said he wouldn't be "in the weeds" of WWE creative. McMahon then made major changes again for the April 24 episode of Raw.

Beyond that, the 77-year-old has made minor changes to programming as he continues to oversee WWE creative remotely. Triple H largely writes the shows as WWE Chief Content Officer but McMahon changes anything that he decides he wants to change.
