Report: Legitimate Concern Domino's Could Pull Out As An AEW Sponsor

Will Domino's remain on TNT?

There was legitimate concern that Domino's Pizza would pull out as a sponsor of AEW Dynamite, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Issues between the pizza restaurant chain and All Elite Wrestling arose last week following the No Rules Match between Chris Jericho and Nick Gage. The two men used light tubes, a pane of glass and steel chairs on each other but problems arose after Nick Gage used a pizza cutter on The Painmaker just before the broadcast cut to a Domino's picture-in-picture break.

The moment ultimately went viral and a spokesman for Domino's announced following the show that the pizza chain was assessing their "advertising presence" on Dynamite. Domino's never officially said they were pulling out as a sponsor, but there was concern they wouldn't be advertising on TNT going forward, Dave Meltzer noted.

There was particular concern as Domino's is a major sponsor on TNT and their advertising on the station is said to be "very important" for the network.
