Report: Longtime WWE Employee Fired By Company

A longtime WWE employee is gone from the company

A longtime WWE employee has been fired by the organisation.

According to Fightful Select, WWE Vice President of Communications Adam Hopkins was let go by WWE on January 13 after over 25 years with the company. Hopkins had served in a variety of roles, including Fan Services Coordinator, Public Relations Coordinator, Manager of Media Relations, Senior Manager of Public Relations and Corporate Communication, Director of Communications, and Senior Director of Public Relations/Corporate Communications before his VP role.

Stefanie Fiondella, another Vice President of Communications exited WWE last week too. She was in her second stint with WWE, having initially worked for the organisation from 2014 until 2019 before returning in April 2021.

Another longtime PR person in WWE in Matt Altman has also been moved to marketing.

The reason for WWE's shakeup of the communications department is unknown, although it comes only days after Vince McMahon returned to the company, first electing himself to the Board of Directors before he was installed as Executive Chairman.
