Report: Major Name Expected For Impact Wrestling Debut

Could be as soon as Saturday

A notable wrestling star is reportedly headed to Impact Wrestling, and could debut for the organization as early as Saturday night's Bound For Glory pay-per-view in Las Vegas.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Braun Strowman is expected to debut for Impact this weekend. The report states that the real life Adam Scherr was spotted flying from Chicago to Las Vegas Friday morning, and a debut at the pay-per-view is likely.

Johnson's report adds that Scherr plans on using the nickname "The Titan" going forward.

Johnson previously reported that Scherr was spotted last weekend with Impact Executive Vice President Scott D'Amore at a hotel bar in Michigan during the Motor City Comic Con.

Scherr was released from WWE this past June. His last match came at WrestleMania Backlash over two weeks earlier, losing in a WWE title triple threat that involved Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.

Impact not only has Bound For Glory on Saturday night in Las Vegas, but will also be filming two days worth of television there afterwards.

In addition to the expected debut of Scherr, The IInspiration (formerly The IIconics) are debuting for Impact this weekend, challenging Decay for the Knockouts Tag Team titles at Bound For Glory.
