Report: Major Name Planned For WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Match

A big name will likely be a part of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match

One of WWE's top stars is expected to be booked in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the July 1 pay-per-view.

According to WRKD Wrestling, Cody Rhodes is expected to compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

"Nearly winning it ten years ago back in 2013, Cody Rhodes is expected to return as a competitor in the Money In The Bank match this year in London, England," they tweeted.

If he is in the match, it will be Cody's first time competing for the Money in the Bank briefcase since 2013 when he was originally booked to win the match to earn a World Heavyweight Title shot. Damien Sandow ended up winning the match instead. 

Other names rumoured for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match include Damian Priest, Matt Riddle, Bobby Lashley, and LA Knight. Logan Paul is also believed to be a likely participant in the Ladder Match. 

Money in the Bank is scheduled to emanate from The O2 in London, England.
