Report: Major Update On Kenny Omega's AEW Return

Kenny Omega coming back soon?

Kenny Omega has been out of action with numerous injuries since Full Gear in November 2021 but The Best Bout Machine might not be on the shelf for much longer.

According to AEW staff and talent that Fightful Select have spoken to, Omega and The Young Bucks are scheduled to be involved in a six-man tag team match at September's All Out pay-per-view. That match, if it does take place, would be built to through a programme so Omega will seemingly be returning to AEW in the coming weeks, although an exact return date was not reported.

Fightful also noted that neither AEW nor Kenny Omega have confirmed if The Best Bout Machine will compete at All Out.

Who The Elite will face upon Omega's return is also unclear, although The Cleaner teased a feud with Adam Cole prior to him taking time off. Cole was already aligned with Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly has since joined the Undisputed Elite and a six-man tag would be popular if everyone returns from injury in time for All Out. AEW President Tony Khan also previously revealed that he was more open to debuting trios titles when Omega returns.
