Report: Mandy Rose Possibly Injured At WWE NXT Tapings

Mandy Rose possibly suffered an injury during WWE NXT's TV tapings earlier this week. 

Trent Osborne of Bodyslam noted Rose went one on one with Sarray at the August 24 tapings. At one point during the match, Sarray caught Rose with a Dropkick and Rose's allies Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne covered her face with a towel before they all walked backstage. The referee initially started a 10 count but they called for the bell before finishing it. 

Rose would appear later in the tapings sporting a protective face mask, similar to the one used by Sheamus in recent months, and she, Dolin and Jayne beat down Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter. 

It's unclear if Rose suffered a legitimate injury during the match with Sarray or if her new mask is part of angle, though. 

Rose spent much of the last few years on the main roster but she returned to NXT on July 13. She has since aligned herself with young talent Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne after weeks of scouting.
