A Tony Khan booking decision has left many within AEW "appalled", according to a new report.

Toni Storm made her return to All Elite Wrestling at Wednesday night's special Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite. Instead of making a big deal out of Storm's in-ring return, though, Khan simply booked Storm to take on Harley Cameron on AEW Rampage.

Addressing the odd decision, Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that many within AEW were "appalled" but Tony Khan simply "does whatever he wants."

"Do you know how many people I talked to in AEW yesterday, and every last single one of them... 'aghast' may not even be the right word... 'appalled' that Toni Storm’s return is on Rampage. I swear to god this is true - you could have had 200 people lined up outside Tony Khan's door last night, one by one, all 200 of them could have gone in there and said, 'This idea is stupid', and do you wanna know what'd happen at the end of the night? He'd have still done it, because that's what happens. People argue things with him every single week, and at the end of the day, he does whatever he wants," Alvarez stated.

Toni Storm made her return at Dynamite Winter is Coming in the closing moments of the show following Mariah May's successful AEW Women's World Title defence against Mina Shirakawa. Storm had been off AEW TV since dropping the belt to May at August's All In pay-per-view.
