Report: Marvel Scrapped Becky Lynch Scene In Eternals

Becky Lynch was almost set to cross over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 

According to Fightful Select, Lynch was cast in 2021's Eternals movie but her scenes were cut from the final product due to being "too depressing". Lynch would have appeared in a post-credit scene alongside Harry Styles to set up a future movie or TV series. Her role in the post-credit scene is unknown. 

While her spot in Eternals was nixed, Lynch appearing in a future Marvel movie is reportedly not out of the question. Marvel were said to be happy with her portrayal of the character she played. 

Eternals was released in November 2021 following delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If the franchise will return is unknown due to an underwhelming performance at the box office. 

Lynch has appeared in acting roles in recent years, portraying Cyndi Lauper in Young Rock. She recently returned to WWE after several months out of action with a separated shoulder.
