Report: Matt Riddle Given Heavy WWE Schedule Following Return

Matt Riddle keeping busy following his WWE return

Matt Riddle is going from 0 to 100 with WWE.

The former United States Champion returned to WWE TV on the Raw after WrestleMania 39, making his surprise return much to The Miz's dismay. Riddle ended up standing tall after he avoided an attack from Miz and left the two-time WWE Champion lying following a Bro Derek.

Riddle is assigned to Raw but he ended up showing up on Friday Night SmackDown on April 7, making the save for Sami Zayn after Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa attacked The Underdog from the Underground following the main event. Riddle then appeared again on Raw on April 10, making the save for Kevin Owens alongside Sami Zayn.

Riddle's hectic schedule isn't set to ease up following his return and PWInsider Elite has reported the former UFC fighter will be on "pretty much" every Raw, SmackDown, and house show now that he is back in action.

The 37-year-old had been out of action since being written off TV in early December with an attack from Solo Sikoa. It emerged after the attack that Riddle had been suspended by WWE and sent to rehab following a failed drug test.
