Report: Riddle Re-Signed With WWE In December 2020

There had been question marks over his contract status

Back in late December, a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted Riddle had re-signed with WWE. The Raw Superstar was said to be uninterested in renewing his contract following WWE's first offer, but he signed on the dotted line after the company came back with new terms.

If Riddle had signed a new contract became unclear a few weeks later, though, following a report from Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live

Fightful Select has since cleared up the situation and they confirmed again that Riddle signed a new contract in December 2020. The deal was reportedly an entirely new contract as opposed to just an extension and he will remain with WWE through the end of 2023.

Past reports noted Riddle's new downside guarantee is $400,000 per year and he will receive an extra $50,000 for every Saudi Arabia event he works.

The Original Bro signed with WWE in the summer of 2018 and is a former NXT Tag Team Champion. He has spent the last couple of months feuding with Bobby Lashley and The Hurt Business over the United States Championship.
