For all intents and purposes, it seems that Mercedes Martinez has been removed from both Retribution and the Raw roster, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Johnson's report claims that Martinez is being moved back to NXT. It's not clear at this time why the decision has been made to remove Martinez from Retribution, or to move her back to her prior NXT home.

Speculation came earlier this week that Martinez (known as "Retaliation" within Retribution) wasn't long for the group, particularly after a few tweets from leader Ali tagged the other members, but not her.

Ali tweeted a graphic of he and the four other members on Friday, with Martinez not a part of it.

All members of Retribution are eligible to be selected during Monday's portion of the WWE Draft. The roster pool on WWE.com (which was posted Thursday) still lists Retaliation as part of Retribution.

Martinez officially signed with WWE in January of this year, and subsequently wrestled in the Women's Royal Rumble match. She then joined the Robert Stone Brand on NXT this summer, before leaving the group in September, following a loss to Rhea Ripley in a steel cage match.
