On this week's edition of AEW: Dynamite, new signing Miro had his debut match as he teamed with Kip Sabian against Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss. Both teams fought back and forth for 10 minutes but The Best Man and "Superbad" were able to pick up the win after Miro trapped Kiss in the Game Over.
The former WWE Superstar appeared to pick up an injury after he was tossed to the outside, though, and he could be seen hobbling in the ring for a few minutes. Many weren't sure if Miro picked up a legitimate injury or if he was just selling the earlier move.
Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that he had been told the former Bulgarian Brute suffered a legitimate injury and "tweaked" his ankle. Miro wasn't hampered for long by his ankle, however, and he reportedly felt better soon after.
Alvarez said: "What I was told was he tweaked it and then it felt better. So, I don't know what he did but allegedly it was legitimate. And then he felt better afterwards and apparently he felt better in the back. So, I guess he's fine."
