There are mixed feelings within WWE about potentially bringing in Danhausen, it has been revealed.

WrestleVotes has reported on WrestleVotes Live on Fightful Select that there is interest within the company about signing Danhausen, but there are also people in WWE that "aren't so keen on him and his talents."

"It's an interesting one. I know people there want him to come over…but I know people there that aren't so keen on him and his talents. So I don't know where they're going to stand when it's time for him to come as a free agent. I'm sure there'll be an offer. He's talented, people like him, he's over. I could see them making an offer, but I know some people there maybe just don't get it, and that's fair. We'll see, I don't think it's a done deal yet," WrestleVotes said.

It first emerged in the summer that WWE were interested in signing Danhausen when he becomes a free agent. Danhausen's contract is reportedly scheduled to expire in February 2026.

The 35-year-old's deal was originally due to end earlier this year, but AEW added additional time to his contract. Danhausen has been a part of AEW since early 2022, but he hasn't been used by the promotion since a surprise appearance at ROH Final Battle 2024.

Danhausen has remained active on the independent wrestling scene in 2025, performing for the likes of WrestlePro, GCW, and AIW.
