Report: MJF Pulled From AEW Promotional Material

MJF being removed from AEW promotional material

In addition to his removal from the AEW roster page and his merchandise being pulled from ShopAEW, MJF will reportedly no longer be featured in promotional material for All Elite Wrestling programming.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, an edict was issued within Warner Bros. Discovery for MJF to be removed from promotional material for AEW shows. Editing is ongoing to remove Friedman from any TBS and TNT spots and he may still appear while the stations transition to the new material.

MJF's removal from promotional material comes after he cut his own pipe bomb promo on last week's edition of Dynamite in which he demanded Tony Khan fire him.

Friedman and AEW had issues over Double Or Nothing weekend and MJF no-showed the promotion's Fan Fest on Saturday, May 28. MJF then booked a flight out of Las Vegas but did not board the plane. A report from Dave Meltzer stated the flight was a work if it was even booked at all.

Friedman had been frustrated in AEW leading up to Double Or Nothing over his contract with the promotion.

While the situation between MJF and AEW reportedly began as a shoot over Double Or Nothing weekend, many believe their issues have since become a work and some of Friedman's friends have even questioned whether he has been working them the whole time
